Chef Niven, a 4-time James Beard Award semi-finalist for “Best Chef: South” who was also named Best New Chef 2020 by Food & Wine, is deeply entrenched in the farming community. His home, Rancho Patel, a 2-acre farm in Homestead, Florida is the source of inspiration for all FEAL Hospitality concepts. This gives him the unique ability to grow ingredients specifically for his menus and tailor his offerings seasonally with the local ingredients found in his backyard. Mo is a 2023 James Beard Award semi-finalist for “Outstanding Restaurateur” with international experience spanning across Europe and the Middle East where he managed over 30 restaurants simultaneously. His keen eye for identifying talent coupled with a deeply rooted belief in mentorship as a core component to success has fostered a culture that allows our team to prosper and enriches the communities in which we serve. The duo met in 2016 having crossed paths at an F&B establishment in Miami and immediately hit it off; it was a match made in heaven. As their friendship, respect, and admiration for one another grew, they formally partnered up in 2018 and brought to life all that FEAL has to offer; humble hospitality, fresh local ingredients, and bold flavors.
